Bethany Kraft, Executive Director
Bethany has been involved in Gulf Coast conservation since she was a child in Texas. Upon receiving her Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Texas A & M University in 2001, she was employed by the Texas Commission for Environmental Quality before relocating to Mobile. In Mobile she served as Programs Director at Mobile BayKeeper, then as District Administrator for Mobile County Commissioner Stephen Nodine. Ms. Kraft joined the Alabama Coastal Foundation as Executive Director in January of 2008. In addition to her work at ACF, Bethany enjoys gardening and participating in triathlons. Contact Bethany

Anna Keene, Programs Director
Anna has been involved in Alabama educational outreach projects since 2003 when she became a Board member for the Friends of Hurricane Creek in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Upon receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree from the New College Program at the University of Alabama focusing on English and Geography, Anna worked as an Environmental Educator at McDowell Environmental Center in Winston County, Alabama. She then served for 18 months as an AmeriCorps VISTA volunteer with the Friends of Hurricane Creek. In March of 2008, Anna joined the Alabama Coastal Foundation as Programs Director. Anna enjoys kayaking, camping and playing the guitar. Contact Anna

Catherine Mackey, AmeriCorps VISTA
Catherine is a Mobile native and a graduate of College of Charleston, where she recieved her Bachelor's degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management. She then traveled to Germany to serve as a aupair for a year before returning to Mobile and serving as Youth Director for All Saints' Episcopal Church. She continues to volunteer with the youth at church and recently assisted with a week-long mission trip to the 9th ward in New Orleans to work on homes damaged in Hurricane Katrina. Catherine will be assisting with ACF's work on the Oil Release Response, specifically helping with the Volunteer Field Observer Program. Contact Catherine.
