Topics include earth science and biology; special collections include water, climate change, and Ology, the museum’s website for kids.

WhaleNet-Interactive Education Resources
Whalenet contains images and movies from actual research, as well as curriculum units, information on various species, behaviors, sounds, etc. Gather online real-time and archived satellite tracking data from seals, whales, dolphins, porpoises, and sea turtles.
Wetlands & Wonder Video: Reconnecting Children with Nearby Nature
This 14-minute video produced by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency discusses the loss of wetlands and the effect that the loss of natural areas closest to us has on our connection to the natural world. The video includes streaming text for the hearing impaired.

Inside Birding
From the Cornell Lab of Ornithology, Inside Birding is a new video series designed to provide birders with the information they need to improve their skills and make their experience more rewarding, and can also serve as a primer for new birders. The series is made up of four, ten-minute video segments covering bird size and shape, color, behavior, and habitat.
