GIS Map of ACF Resources

This GIS map displays past and present habitat projects, activities, and key locations of environmental education.  This illustrates the scope of work that the Alabama Coastal Foundation and its partnering organizations have completed across Mobile and Baldwin counties. Individuals or groups interested in connecting to their coast through volunteerism or donations can use this to find projects close to home, work, or school and let us know they are interested in getting a program started.

This dynamic map can be layered by the user to view different aspects of the area. This map will help individuals connect to their community and in so doing, connect to their coast!  If you have trouble viewing the map below, you may also view the map directly by clicking HERE.

Thank you to Goodwyn, Mills, and Cawood for developing and maintaining the map. Their efforts have made this strong tool for viewing the scope of our work possible.

Since 1993, the Alabama Coastal Foundation (ACF) has worked to promote a culture where environmental decisions are based on an accurate understanding of the underlying science, the dissemination of factual information, and the engagement of government, industry, and citizens to find solutions to our coastal challenges. We bring that vision into reality through our inclusive environmental stewardship approach.
