Osprey Lesson Plans

The live osprey video project at Wolf Bay is a collaboration between the City of Orange Beach, The Nature Conservancy and the Alabama Coastal Foundation. The purpose of this project is to raise awareness about this important indicator species.

The Alabama Coastal Foundation has created osprey lesson plans for third grade teachers. These eight lessons are written to connect with both the Wolf Bay Osprey Camera Live Feed and the Alabama State Course of Study Science Objectives for Third Grade.

Since 1993, the Alabama Coastal Foundation (ACF) has worked to promote a culture where environmental decisions are based on an accurate understanding of the underlying science, the dissemination of factual information, and the engagement of government, industry, and citizens to find solutions to our coastal challenges. We bring that vision into reality through our inclusive environmental stewardship approach.
